Patrece Hamblin is a results-driven leader with over 30 years of experience in information technology, healthcare innovation, and strategic project management. As Director of Planning and Initiative Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she leads complex initiatives that improve operational efficiency and drive business growth.

An Adjunct Professor at Davenport University since 2013, Patrece is passionate about developing future leaders in Health Information Technology. She is also the founder of Onyx Benefit Resources, helping small businesses streamline back-office operations and navigate healthcare regulations. Deeply committed to community service, Patrece is an active member and leader in several organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Management Association, and Michigan Council of Women in Technology. Her
board service includes Oakland University Black Alumni Chapter, Urban Financial Services Coalition of Detroit, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc., among others.

Outside of her professional and community commitments, Patrece enjoys spending time with her husband and young adult daughter traveling.
